Chamber to Discuss Tennis Stadium Concerts

While more than 16,000 fans amassed at the Mumford and Sons concert September, bands like Modest Mouse and and Brand New have continued the buzz into 2014 — generating some new energy from the club to reach out to the local business.
Following the Town Hall meeting at Our Lady of Mercy earlier this week, Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi and Councilwoman Karen Koslowitz have teamed up with the West Side Tennis Club for an outreach meeting with the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce at the club, 1 Tennis Pl., on Thu., May 8 at 6 p.m. to discuss ways of reaching the business community through the upcoming summer concert series.
