Groton Street in Forest Hills Gardens was just named the most expensive street in the borough according to real estate website StreetEasy.

To create their list, StreetEasy’s research team looked at city blocks over the past decade which have sold at least 10 homes. They managed to find the top three most expensive blocks in each borough through looking at median sales prices.

Homes on Groton Street between 72nd Avenue and 70th Avenue have a median sales price of $1,778,737. Several homes in the area have sold for over $2 million over the past couple of years. In 2013, a single-family Tudor-style home at 72 Tennis Place became a record-setter in the neighborhood when it sold for $4.3 million.

The third most expensive street in Queens, after second place’s Powell’s Cove Boulevard in Whitestone, is Juno Street between 71st Avenue and 72nd Avenue. The median sales price on Juno Street is $1,383,684. Juno Street sits just outside of the Forest Hills Gardens boundary.
