Mumford & Sons return to FH Stadium for 2 nights

Besides the New York Pops, who continuously call the Forest Hills Stadium their summer home, the venue just announced Mumford & Sons will return to its stage.
During the summer of 2013, Mumford & Sons became Forest Hills Stadium’s first concert performance in 15 years.
“We’re thrilled to announce the return of Mumford & Sons to Forest Hills Stadium. This is just the beginning, we’ve got another diverse season of entertainment to share with you soon,” Mike Luba, Forest Hills Stadium promoter, said in a statement. “We’ve made some incredible improvements to the stadium that have made it a world class venue and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”
The group were scheduled to perform on June 16, but due to an overwhelming response from their fans, they’ve added a second performance on June 17th as well. On June 16, they will have featured guest Raury, an eclectic artist mixing soul, hip hop and folk, and on the 17th, indie pop artist BØRNS will join them.
