Thanks to the help of two 112th Precinct police officers and a tow truck driver, a 9-month-old girl was rescued from an accidentally locked vehicle.

The nightmare experience occurred to a family who was visiting from Arizona.

As she exited the car, the baby girl’s mother forgot her keys inside. She called 911 for assistance and officers David Pierson and Nick Gericitano responded to the scene. The officers also managed to flag down a passing tow truck. Using a Slim Jim, the tow truck driver and officers managed to pry the door and get the girl safely out.

The little girl is currently doing fine. Unfortunately, the hero tow truck driver left before the police could get his name.
