CM Koslowitz meets with Captain Ramos of the 112th Precinct

Council Member Karen Koslowitz recently met with the 112th Precinct’s new commanding officer, Captain Robert Ramos. The two discussed district wide concerns, including quality of life issues.
“I was delighted to welcome our new Captain Robert Ramos and greet our long-time Community Affairs Officer Gigi Kolenovic Redzematovic,” Koslowitz said in a statement. “Captain Ramos and I covered many topics including the procedures to address the homeless in our streets as well as summer police deployment in and around our heavily utilized parks and during concerts.”
Some concerns from the local community were also expressed to Ramos at the last Community Council Meeting. Parking, the taxi lane near 71st Avenue, traffic along Austin Street and theft have been major concerns.
