Annual Queens Borough Hall toy drive begins today!
Queens Borough President Melinda Katz announced the start of her office’s annual holiday toy drive. From today until Wednesday Dec. 18, Queens residents are invited to donate new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages in need.
Those participating can place their donations in the “Holiday Toy Drive Box” in the lobby of Borough Hall. All donations are anonymous, and are not tax-deductible.
The toys will be given to the Battalion Pentecostal Assembly Church in Rockaway and St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children in Bayside. They will distribute the toys to children all across the borough.
“The holiday season is a time to rejoice with our families and give thanks for the blessings in our lives,” Borough President Katz said in a statement. “In the spirit of giving, please consider donating to make sure children across the borough will share in the joy the holidays bring.”
