'Tis the Season for Rail Gunners

Councilwoman Karen Kosolowitz, State Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi and Queens Community Board 6 are sponsoring a toy drive to benefit the Interdisciplinary Center for Child Development (ICCD).

The drop off locations – accepting toys from now, until Dec. 18 – are as follows:

• NYC Council Member Koslowitz’s Office, 118-35 Queens Boulevard – 17th Floor

• NYS Assembly Member Hevesi’s Office, 70-50 Austin St., Suite 118

Residents of the Forest Hills community and Queens are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys for children ages 3-5.

ICCD, founded in 1985, is a center that provides a unique, innovative and enriched opportunity for all pre-school children to grow and learn together. It has three Queens locations in Rego Park, Bayside and Whitestone.

The EFMP toy drive contributions are given to children in the organization who may not receive any other toys due to expensive medical bills.
