Cinemart Cinemas to screen “The Hateful Eight”

Cinemart Cinemas, located at 106-03 Metropolitan Avenue, will be screening Quentin Tarantino’s new film “The Hateful Eight” beginning today.

The theater’s owner, Nicolas Nicolaou, hopes the film will rejuvenate interest in the independently-owned theater. The profit from tickets will go towards the installation of new leather recliners.

The movie follows a Wyoming bounty hunter and his prisoner escaping the harsh winter and stumbling upon a cast of over-the-top characters.

Screenings of the show for today include: 35 mm: 4:30, 8:00, 11:15
Digital: 11:30am, 2:50, 6:10, 9:30
Thursday, Dec. 31st: 35mm film: 1:00, 4:30, 8:00
Digital: 11:30am, 2:50, 6:10
Friday, Jan. 1, & Saturday, Jan. 2: 35mm film: 1:00, 4:30, 8:00, 11:15

The film will be shown in digital and 35mm formats. Tickets are $8 and include free popcorn, free drinks and refills.
