Kew Gardens is celebrating Queens Artists!
On Sunday, September 30th from 11-5pm there will be an outdoor art fair on Lefferts Blvd, Austin Street, and the neighboring streets. The event will feature sidewalk chalk artists, art demonstrations, an arts and craft zone, live music, and lots of surprises!
This event is sponsored by an NYC Council Grant awarded by Karen Koslowitz to the Kew Gardens Council for Recreation & the Arts, Inc., and Friends of The Potter’s Wheel Grant.
My synagogue is considering having a permanent mural painted on one of the walls in our Sukkah.
