Forest Hills resident Linda Belickis is a talented mosaic artist and teacher committed to sharing the artistry behind authentic Byzantine mosaics, one tile at a time.
“The history of the art is much like storytelling, similar to how antique tapestries portray a tale through the threads of delicate silk and cotton,” said Belickis, who feels that mosaic artwork has faded away, particularly in 21st century culture.
