Forest Hills burglary suspect still on the loose

Police are currently searching for a suspect involved in multiple burglaries within Forest Hills and Rego Park.

The man, who was captured by surveillance camera walking down the street, is said to have entered into homes through fire escape access during afternoon and evening hours. According to authorities, the man has been linked to a string of robberies which started on Dec. 20.

Targeted areas have included 63rd Drive, Saunders Street and Queens Boulevard. Missing items include jewelry, cash, electronics and camera equipment.

The man is described as 45 years old, about 170 pounds and 6 feet tall.
