Tree and Shrub Planting at MacDonald Park

The Forest Hills Asian Association, the NYC Parks Dept. staff and the Friends of MacDonald Park will be hosting a tree and shrub planting at MacDonald Park this Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
They are looking for volunteers to help spruce the park up as the warmer weather begins. Students can even earn community service credit if they are interested. The event doesn’t require pre-registration, just show up!
Experience isn’t necessary and tools and gloves will be provided to everyone. Light refreshments will also be served.
