If you have time today, consider donating blood at the Forest Hills Jewish Center.
A single donation helps to save up to three lives. If you’d like to donate, bring your blood donor card or ID, eat well and drink fluids. You cannot donate blood if you had a tattoo done in the past 12 months. The minimum weight is 110 lbs. and you should fall within the 16-75 age range (age 76+ need a doctor’s note).
The event will be held from 4:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. in the Crystal Room at the Forest Hills Jewish Center (106-06 Queens Blvd.).
