Ascension Church hosts EasterFest at MacDonald Park

Following a morning of prayer at P.S. 101, Ascension Church of Forest Hills invited its congregation and members of the community to celebrate Easter in the park.
Hundreds gathered at MacDonald Park for the 13th annual EasterFest, an afternoon of family-friendly activities including face painting, crafts, games and the popular Easter egg hunt.
It was the second year that festivities have been held at MacDonald Park, bringing more visibility and awareness to the local church.
In addition to the activities and food, members of Ascension Church engaged in discussion with attendees regarding questions in life using several panels on different subjects.
